How do I reserve my Windsor Hills

Vacation Home?

Once you choose the Disney area vacation home that you would like to visit, there are two options when it comes to securing your booking. You may place your reservation directly through www.FiveStarVacationHomes.com, our secure website, or you may call 1-855-FL-5-STAR, or 407-973-2624 for calls outside the United States of America.  A Five Star Vacation Home representative is available daily between 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Saturday. Five Star Vacation Homes requires a 20% deposit upon placing the reservation.  If you are placing a reservation for accommodations that are less than 49 days (7 weeks) in advance, a full payment is required. All payments will be processed on the credit card card that is initially provided for the booking unless other payments are arranged.

When will I receive my confirmation and arrival instructions?

Five Star Vacation Homes will e-mail you a booking confirmation form which will include your rental property address, custom lockbox code, wireless internet code, directions to your property, and a rental voucher for the duration of your stay to present to the staff and security of Windsor Hills .

Where do I pick up and drop off my keys?

For your convenience, all homes under the management of Five Star Vacation Homes are equipped with a keypad door lock to allow you to make the most of your vacation.  This prevents you from ever losing a key or locking yourself out, which can add up to high fees with other property managers.  Each reservation will receive their own personal code to enter the property.  This code will be active beginning at time of check-in and expire at time of check-out.

What is required at Check-out?

Upon check-out, it would be greatly appreciated if you could help our cleaning team by: Placing all sheets, linens and towels in the laundry room. Emptying trash cans and placing all trash in receptacles outside of the home. Ensuring you collect all of your belongings and return the key to the lockbox. Remember to help yourself to a business card to offer your friends and family when you brag about your vacation. If you quote your reservation number on a future reservation, you will be offered a 5% discount!

What are the Check-in & Check-out times?

Your home will be available for check-in on your day of arrival at 4:00 pm. Check-out is promptly at 10:00 am on your day of departure from Windsor Hills . You are free to use the amenities of the community prior to and after check-out on that day only.

Early check-ins or late check-outs can be requested for an additional charge. All early check-ins or late check-outs are subject to no other reservations in the property at the time of your arrival/departure. As such, these will be tentatively booked, and confirmed only within the last 48 hours prior to your arrival. It is the guest's responsibility to contact Five Star Vacation Homes within 48 hours of arrival to confirm availability.

What is the cancellation policy for Five Star Vacation Homes?

Any cancellation must be received in writing and are subject to the following charges of the total:

  • 20% from initial date of booking up to 49 days prior to the arrival date
  • 100% if less than 49 days prior to the arrival date

Five Star Vacation Homes offers trip protection to help recoup any costs incurred due to a cancellation, regardless of the situation.

Does Five Star Vacation Homes require a minimum night stay?

Will I stay in the Windsor Hills home that I have chosen?

Of course! When you book your Windsor Hills vacation accommodations, the availability calendar will automatically be updated and not allow any additional reservations to conflict with your stay.  This ensures that you always have the property that you chose. If for some unforeseen reason we are required to move you to another home, we will do our best to appropriately notify you, as well as ensure you are located in a property of similar or higher specifications to the ones you have chosen. 

If I have a problem with the home, what should I do?

During regular business hours, you may call us at 1-855-FL-5-STAR or 1-407-973-2624 and speak directly to one of Five Star Vacation Homes' professional staff. Any issues will be documented and addressed in a timely manner. To ensure your piece of mind, we additionally have a representative that lives within Windsor Hills on-call 24/7, to deal with any emergency situation within your Windsor Hills home.

What are Five Star Vacation Homes' Office Hours?

Our regular office hours are 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST Monday-Saturday. Guests calling to place a reservation, or those with general inquiries outside of office hours are able to leave messages on our voicemail system. Five Star Vacation Homes will do its best to reply to all messages within 24 hours. Reservations can also be placed 24/7 on our secure website. Feel free to send an e-mail to Contact@FiveStarVacationHomes.com with any questions or comments.  E-Mails are generally responded to at a quicker rate. Five Star Vacation Homes is always available 7/24/365 for guests staying in our vacation homes in case of emergency.

Are the kitchens fully equipped?

All homes are fully equipped with everything you'll need, including a refrigerator, freezer, oven, range, microwave and dishwasher. Additionally, all of Five Star Vacation Homes' properties come complete with toasters, coffee makers, blenders, cookware, dishes, glasses and utensils so you can be sure to prepare your favorite meal for the family to enjoy!

Are there any laundry facilities in the area?
If you don't want to pack a full suitcase for your vacation, feel free to take advantage of the full sized washer and dryer in each property to have all of your washing completed.  Additionally, an iron and ironing board are also in each Windsor Hills home managed by Five Star Vacation Homes. Feel free to request additional information from a Five Star Vacation Homes reservationist regarding available out-call laundry services.

What should I bring along on my vacation? 

While we try to our best to ensure that each guest has everything they will need, however, there are some items that are not provided in the homes. While bath and hand towels are provided, you may want to bring your own beach towels as these are not always supplied in the property, and if they are, they are not permitted to be removed from the property. As mentioned, Five Star Vacation Homes provides complimentary starter soap, sponge, dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags; however once these items are used, it is the guest’s responsibility to replenish them. Please note that any items provided are complimentary and may not be available due to circumstances beyond our control. 

Are there pets permitted in any Five Star Vacation Home?

Five Star Vacations Homes has a very strict no pet policy in all of our Windsor Hills vacation homes. A fee will be charged to the guest's account for the proper cleaning necessary if the guest is found in violation of this. The reason that there is a no pet policy is for the allergy issues that future guests may incur.

Are the homes Non-Smoking?

All Five Star Vacation Homes have a very strict no-smoking policy. Guests are permitted to smoke on the exterior of the home including screen enclosed areas such as the balcony and patio, or throughout the community in open air areas excluding community playgrounds, clubhouse, breezeways, etc. Please be considerate when smoking and place all finished cigarettes and ashes in the ash tray and trash containers. Those found to be in violation of the smoking policy will be subject to a $500 fee.

How often is my Windsor Hills vacation home cleaned?

Every vacation property under the management of Five Star Vacation Homes is cleaned thoroughly by our professional cleaning staff prior to and immediately following every vacation.  Unlike a hotel, your vacation home will not be cleaned daily, however, if you would like to request a daily or mid-stay clean, this may be arranged for an additional fee.   Contact a Five Star Vacation Homes representative at 407-973-2624 to learn more.  If you do get the extra energy and just can't relax, a broom, mop and vacuum are all located within each rental unit.

How much notice is necessary to rent any items?


Five Star Vacation Homes respectfully requests no less than 48 hours notice for rental equipment orders, however, we will accommodate your request to the best of our ability.

Does Five Star Vacation Homes offer pool and / or spa heat?

Five Star Vacation Homes offers a flat rate of $30.00 per night for pool & spa heat, and $15.00 per night for only spa heat.  The heat will run from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM per day, and prices are not inclusive of taxes.


How can I rent an item or request a service? 


You may rent an item or request a service in any of the following methods: 

  • When booking online, choose the option.
  • When ordering on phone, request the option from the representative.

Do I need a rental voucher to enter the resort?


Yes, Five Star Vacation Homes will provide you with a rental voucher for yourself to produce to Windsor Hills security. This will be one week prior to your check-in and after all payments have been finalized. The security guards will need to see this voucher, as well as your driving license or passport. They will then issue you with an access pass that will be valid for the duration of your stay.


What are the hours of Windsor Hills welcome center?


The front desk of Windsor Hills is open between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.


What are the hours of the Windsor Hills Community Pool?


The Windsor Hills community pool and spa are open between 8:00 AM - 10:00 PM.


Is there a Guest Relations on site?


Indeed there is.  Joseph Ortiz is the person that you want to speak with regarding all the Windsor Hills and the greater Orlando area has to offer! Visit Joseph anytime Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM.  You will see that Joseph puts together all of the community gatherings and celebrations.  Feel free to stop by and say hi!


Where may I obtain a pool access pass?


Please present your Five Star Vacation Homes rental voucher to the security gate and they will issue a pool and playground pass that will allow you access into the recreation areas.

Are there any requirements for the resort pool slide?


All guests that would like to participate on the resort pool slide must be at least forty-two inches tall.


When is the Windsor Hills  Sundry Store open?


Operating hours for the Sundry Shop in the Clubhouse vary per season.
February 1st-August 31st, October, and the Christmas Holidays: 8:00am-10:00pm
September, November, January, early to mid December: 8:00am-8:00pm

What can I find at the Windsor Hills Sundry Store?


Windsor Hills Sundry Store carries a large stock of food and consumables.  This is the most convenient stop to purchase your vacation essentials. Additionally, the shop has some delicious pool side snacks such as wraps, chicken fingers, french fries, as well as beer and wine!


Does Windsor Hills have a speed limit?


For the safety of all guests, including children, Windsor Hills has a very strict speed limit of 25 MPH.


Where may I park my RV or commercial vehicle?


In order to maintain the image of Windsor Hills , all RVs and commercial vehicles are respectfully requested to park in the overflow parking lot located in the recreation area.


What are the amenities of Windsor Hills?


Windsor Hills has plenty to keep the young and old busy for the entire vacation! Show off your skills on the tennis court, shoot some baskets on the basketball courts, have a volleyball game beside a summer barbeque, practice your putting skills on our green, take a dip in the Olympic sized swimming pool, relax in a lounge chair or in the giant community hot tub, plunge down the giant water slide, shoot some 8 Ball in the Windsor Hills arcade, lift some weights in the community gym, request your favorite movie in the 40 seat movie theater, and much, much more!


What are the quiet hours of Windsor Hills?

Windsor Hills enforces quiet hours between 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM for the respect of the guests within the community.


Does Windsor Hills permit on-street parking?


Due to the narrow roads, Windsor Hills does not allow on-street parking at any property.  All condominiums have parking spaces nearby, while townhouses have one designated parking place per property, and pool homes can fit between 2 - 4 vehicles per property, depending on the size of the driveway.  If any guest has additional vehicles, there are nearby community overflow parking lots for guest's use.
